So, what makes this NC different from the others? I don't know very much about him, so as much as you can tell, by all means, please do. smile

Also, if you have any interesting AoA stuff, I'm sure this would be a good thread to post it in. (I'm just interested in the whole AoA thing, as I know very little about it.) Thanks for the info/help. smile

Hey, you can probably pick up the whole series for 8-10 bucks at your local comic store now. It wasn't the end all be all, but it was a pretty good series. The main thing about Kurt in AoA was that his personality took a total 360. No longer happy, he became a fecious killer who would teleport people's heads off with a glance (killed Deadpool doing that), and didn't appear to be as agile either.

One of the main reasons for his attitude change is the fact that his mom, Mystique, didn't abandon him as a baby, and instead taught him how to use his abilities offensively instead of defensively. Hence, why he was able to teleport off with various body parts instead of the entire person. (I know he's done this once in Earth616...vs the Magus, Uncanny #192 I believe, but I'm not remembering any other time at the moment...)

Anyway, he's also a much better swordsman, but not having spent a career as a circus acrobat, his agility isn't quite up to where it could be.

A good candidate for the whole "nature vs nurture" debate.

didn't he teleport a sentinels head off in regular continuity once? is that what you are talking about? and he has used his powers offensively in regular continuity atleast one other time that i know of, but in a different way. in that issue of Wolverine (140 i believe...) where he teleported some piece of junk into the middle of a robot version of The Thing...

I was talking about when the "real" Nightcrawler has done something like that. AoA Kurt did it all the time...

But thanks for the visual aid. :P

HE was a lot harsher in that reality. It's interesting to see what he was like when Mystique raised him. ANd he did teleport a Sentinal's head off at one point, I just can't remember exactly . . .
